The latest very cool piece of equipment installed at Calumet Electronics. This is laser direct imaging. Yes, a solid-state laser complete with prism and the space-age rocket-looking air cleaning system.
These are the first test shots with the new SB-900 flash at 6:00 am. At this time of the morning, the only models available were our cats, Finnegan and Rachael. As you can see Finnie is a willing model, but Rachael is a little shy. The flash is awesome. A little noisy with its ability to zoom and following the lens, but well worth it. As I said when I used the SB-800s, Nikon's slogan should be:
Pictures of the Desmear and Electroless line at Calumet Electronics. This line cleans and prepares drilled holes and then chemically prepares the holes to receive copper plating.
Pictures of the new Press and Layup areas at Calumet Electronics. Much of the work on this project was done by REL, Inc. of Calumet. This department is where circuit board "sandwiches" are assembled and pressed together under heat and pressure.
