After church on Sunday, the Bosley crew went blueberry picking at the Gierke farm just south of Chassell. The berries are unbelievable this year. Notice the orange ribbon on the bucket and at the weighing stand. Those were to be used to tie next to any wasp nests in the field.The little girl picking next to us with her grandfather was apparently convinced that every little bug and fly was a wasp because she was finding lots of them. Gabby stayed true to her middle-namesake of Afina (Romanian for blueberry) as she picked plenty herself.
